Foster City Preschool celebrated the Chinese New Year with a parade on February 11. The children wore head bands and made decorations appropriate for ushering in the new Year of the Ox. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about and share in Chinese culture and traditions. The preschool also celebrates Diwali and International Education week, as part of our commitment to diversity and our efforts to educate our children about the world community. Masks are still worn, of course, at the preschool. They are part the extensive Safety Measures we are taking to keep our children and their families safe during the pandemic.
